Whenever I’m in a hurry, I always wear a white shirt with jeans.
Very simple but I never go wrong with that combination.
I like to wear something classic with an eye catching detail like
the shoulder detail on the shirt I was wearing. It is the detail that makes the difference, right?
I bought these loafers the other day. They are my new go-to summer shoes!
Even though the trend right know is to decorate with colours and to be bold when it
comes to interior, you can still invest in black and white furniture. And you won’t get tired of it for sure!
I’ve selected five elements you can add to you’re living room (or wherever you want), to decorate simple but good.

A successful styling either tells a story or starts with contrast.
In my last post i guided you on a 90’s favorite: The Slip-Dress, which in many ways
(with it’s silk and lingerie look) is very feminine.
To make the dress more laid back you can style it
with jeans and t-shirt underneath to create contrast by mixing something casual with something festive.
The biker jacket shown here in the post is both masculine and rock’n’roll in it’s look.
It is therefore also a nice item to mix with your feminine dress.
Great styling is basically all about making contrast!
Strolling though fashion history, the slip silk dress has been worn a thousand times
in many different ways. The fashion history always repeats itself and the slip-dress especially, was
a thing already in the 90’s. Kate Moss, the queen of slip-dresses, has definitely made her mark on fashion history with the many times wore the lingerie-inspired dress.
Many great trends were born in the 90’s. But trends as super skinny eyebrows and belly-bottom piercings are those that we want to forget. The one thing we learned from Kate is, that the slip-dress stays!
I personally like to wear it with a white t-shirt underneath to make it more wearable on weekdays.
But the styling options are endless.

I’ve recently feel in love with this flower but unfortunately they were not available at the flowers market.
So yesterday I found the Protea flower, so I could decorate my brass vases from Skultuna.
Skultuna is a Swedish home accessory brand who makes incredible home accessories in brass.
The company was founded in 1607 by King Karl IX of Sweden. Can you believe that?
Over 400 years of making brass accessories for our homes. This vase in particular, was designed by
the French-German designer Olivia Herms. The vases called Boule, which means “sphere” in french, embodies the most fundamental form of “containing” – the round bowl.
